The top was pretty boggy but worth it and the Pennine Way down towards Crowden is a great little section!Howellseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18062730822742673050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103510324968192841.post-79644099692864488262012-08-25T19:54:45.295+01:002012-08-25T19:54:45.295+01:00Really good blog - I have been meaning to go up Bl...Really good blog - I have been meaning to go up Black Hill for ages and its only up the road from me<br />www.colpeakbagger.blogspot.co.ukcolpeakbaggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03164533802406397203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103510324968192841.post-64242539248494190562012-08-22T11:31:14.964+01:002012-08-22T11:31:14.964+01:00Thanks Sharon, one thing we have no shortage of in...Thanks Sharon, one thing we have no shortage of in the Peaks is bogs. I once went waist deep off the back of Bleaklow and there were a couple of over the knee incidents yesterday.....still there is a really bleak beauty up there and not many people!Howellseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18062730822742673050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103510324968192841.post-36368775579978018442012-08-22T10:39:27.008+01:002012-08-22T10:39:27.008+01:00I like paths too - but it is nice to off piste onc...I like paths too - but it is nice to off piste once in a while - as long as it's a nice clear day - one thing I don't like when I'm hiking is bogs and I do have a fear of falling deep into a bog, I haven't yet but have heard horror stories about those who have - but none that have been swallowed up in one!! I'll get round to walking the Peak District - got the maps and had a good look at them but not been there yet! Happy hiking, SharonSharon Whitleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00403989834480218330noreply@blogger.com
