Walking Resolutions for the New Year
1. Walk 1000 miles during 2013
2. Complete another long distance pathway
3. Obtain my Mountain Leader Qualification
4. Do more wild camping
5. Do a Winter Skills course
Anyone else got any other good ideas for 2013? Happy New Year to you all!!!!
For me this year's challenge is to complete all of the 15 Welsh 3000's in under 24 hours, that will be in June but like you, I need to get out as much as possible to get some mountain miles under my belt and get fit enough - so it will be out in all weathers! Also planning to do the Yorkshire 3 peaks in April as haven't done that and it will be good training and also want to do the top end of the Offas Dyke path from Moel Famau to Prestatyn as I live close to Moel Famau and always fancied doing it - thanks for looking in on our Cwm Eigiau walk - you'd love it - I think Snowdonia is sometimes overlooked in favour of the Lakes and Scotland but it's where my heart lies and where the walking bug started, although I love the Lake District too and want to start exploring the Peak District, starting with the Y3P!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy year ahead for you Sharon! I am considering Offa's Dyke as one of my options for a long distance walk this year....might see you there!
